Yes, it's still hot in North America, but vacation is over and my work schedule is already set through the fall months. I can count down what's left of summer, and there are no more "beach reading" days left.
Isn't it ironic that librarians don't get to read on the job? I might as well pick out a stack of books to set aside for some crisp fall days that I might have free.
